Yes. TeamSpeakHost supports all TeamSpeak 3 client versions that are still covered by the service. Your members can connect using older clients without requiring them to update. We ensure backward compatibility so that no member is left out due to version differences.
TeamSpeakHost is designed for gaming clans, esports teams, friend groups, guilds, public communities, and professional groups that use TeamSpeak 3 for voice communication. Our plans range from small 10-slot servers for private groups to large 100+ slot servers for active public communities.
We currently offer servers in four regions: São Paulo (Brazil), Canada, United States, and Europe. Brazil is our primary and most optimized region, with latency between 5ms and 20ms for most Brazilian users. You can choose your preferred region during checkout, and region changes can be requested after purchase.
Our support team is available to assist with technical issues, configuration questions, and account-related inquiries. You can reach us through the contact form on our website. We aim to respond to all requests as promptly as possible, with priority given to critical service issues.
We aim for 99.9% server uptime across all regions. Our infrastructure uses redundant network connections and power systems to minimize downtime. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance, and unplanned outages are addressed immediately by our operations team.
Your TeamSpeak server is deployed automatically immediately after payment confirmation. The provisioning process is fully automated, meaning there is no waiting for a human to manually set things up. You'll receive your access credentials by email within minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
After your server is provisioned, you'll receive an email containing your server's connection address (IP or custom hostname), the server port, your admin token (used to claim admin privileges), control panel login credentials, and links to documentation for getting started quickly.
No technical knowledge is required. Everything is managed through a web-based control panel with a simple interface. You can create channels, manage permissions, configure bots, restart the server, and upgrade your plan without any command-line knowledge or server administration experience.
After connecting to your server for the first time, you'll use the admin token provided in your welcome email. In the TeamSpeak client, go to Permissions → Use Privilege Key, paste your token, and confirm. This grants you the Server Admin group with full control over your server configuration.
Yes. If you have a backup of your existing TeamSpeak server (including channels, groups, and permissions), we can help you restore it on your new TeamSpeakHost server. Contact our support team with your server backup file and we'll guide you through the migration process.
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time from your control panel or by contacting support. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and your existing server configuration — including channels, permissions, and bot settings — is preserved. You'll only be billed the difference for the remaining time in your billing cycle.
Yes. Downgrades are processed at the end of your current billing cycle. Keep in mind that downgrading to a plan with fewer slots will disconnect users above the new limit. We recommend timing downgrades carefully or contacting support to plan the transition smoothly.
Custom IP is included starting from the Squad plan ($3.99/month) and available on all higher plans. The Core plan uses a shared hosting address. If having a custom, professional connection address is important to your community, we recommend starting with Squad or above.
Custom Slot plans allow you to configure any slot count between 10 and 1000+, beyond our standard plan tiers. Pricing is calculated per slot with volume discounts applied at 200 slots ($0.25/slot) and 500 slots ($0.23/slot). Use our price estimator on the Plans page or contact us for a custom quote.
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for service issues. If you experience a significant service disruption or are unsatisfied with the service within the first period, please contact our support team. We evaluate each situation individually and prioritize customer satisfaction.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted and processed through industry-standard payment gateways. Your financial information is never stored on our servers. Contact us if you need alternative payment arrangements.
Yes. All plans include DDoS protection specifically tuned for TeamSpeak traffic. Unlike generic hosting providers, our filtering system understands TeamSpeak protocol patterns and can distinguish between legitimate user traffic and attack traffic. This means attacks are mitigated at the network edge without affecting voice quality for your members.
Our DDoS mitigation system activates automatically within seconds of detecting an attack pattern. The detection and response system runs continuously in the background, meaning there is no delay between the start of an attack and the activation of protection. In most cases, your members won't even notice that an attack is occurring.
Yes. We take data security seriously. Your account information and payment data are handled through encrypted connections and industry-standard security practices. Payment processing is handled by certified payment gateways, meaning your card details are never stored on our systems. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. Each TeamSpeak server instance runs in an isolated environment with its own dedicated resources. Attacks targeting other customers' servers do not affect your server's performance or availability. Our infrastructure is designed to prevent resource contention between different customer accounts.
We offer three bot options: MusicBot (for music playback and queue management), Multi-Function Bot (for moderation and automation), and Extra Actions Bot (for mass user management and event tools). Bot availability depends on your plan — see the Bots page or plan comparison for details on which bots are included in each tier.
Bots are pre-configured and activate automatically on your server. You don't need to install any software or do any technical setup. Once active, bots respond to commands typed in TeamSpeak chat channels. You can configure bot permissions (who can control the bot) from your admin panel or through admin commands.
Yes. The MusicBot has a built-in DJ permission system. You can designate specific server groups as DJ groups, meaning only members of those groups can use playback commands. Regular members can view the queue and see what's playing, but only designated DJs can add, skip, or modify the queue.
Yes, on Network plans and Custom Slot plans, we offer the option to request custom bot actions tailored to your community's specific workflow. Contact our support team to discuss your requirements and we'll evaluate what can be implemented for your server.
